Also new for 1974 were three new nobbie style tires attached on separate three lug axle hubs. 1974 was the first year the 90 was known as the ATC90 and thus the tradition of all of Honda's three wheeled ATVs to be recognized as ATC, or "All Terrain Cycles". These three almost spongy soft tires made up for the lack of suspension but almost posed some challenges for the rider.Īfter the first four years of production Honda deemed it beneficial to rename the US90 to utilize it's product code of ATC. Most notable of the US90 was it's chevron patterned rear, and ribbed front flotation style tires. Folding handle bars, multi-piece axles, simple single piece wheel and hub units, every trick in the book was used to make the little trike come apart and fit into tight spaces. A design that allowed for almost complete dis-assembly permitted the US90 to be taken apart and fit into the trunk of a car. From its onset it was designed to be a completely portable machine. It's first design all though simple was incredible feature rich. The US90 was an incredible little machine heralded as the do-all offload vehicle. The first generation ATC was actually introduced as the US90, a moniker that only lasted four years before the motorcycle company dropped the US for it's more official model designation of ATC. The Honda 90cc three wheeler went through a dramatic evolution changing constantly from its debut until it's final model in 1978. Little did they know that their "All Terrain Cycle" would be the beginning of long heritage of off road single rider vehicles and a rich history of off road enjoyment. ![]() The ATM125M was significantly revised for the 1986 model year, and thought it continued to use the ATC125M designation, this model was significantly changed from the previous iteration, and can be recognized as a new machine more closely akin to the ATC200 line. The US90 is the three wheeler that started it all! Honda's R&D came up with the US90 at the request for a product that dealers could sell in the motorcycle off season. This model was sold concurrently with the ATC110, and continued the use of the Horizontal engine with 4-speed, dual-range Auto-Clutch transmission. ![]() The newest model, in recognition of the 124cc displacement, was designated the ATC125M. The fourth evolution of the US90 would continue the previous trend of an increase in engine size, but also included the addition of Electric start. Despite fifteen years in the market, the US90 was continually developed and improved, receiving incremental changes yearly, and four significant updates, maintaining its relevance until 1985.Ĥth Generation ATC125M (1984-1985) In 1985, this machine was phased out for the more contemporary 2nd generation Honda ATC125M. The ATC90’s horizontally positioned engine grew to 105cc in 1979, when it was then marketed under the ATC110 designation. This led to Honda developing traditional tire-and-rim designs in 1974, a feature continued on All-Terrain-Vehicles to this day.ģrd Generation ATC110 (1979-1985) For all the benefits, the tires proved to be fragile in rougher terrain, and expensive to replace. Cushioning for the rider was provided by the low-pressure hubless and rimless tires, which also provided a low-impact impression on the environments it traverses. The US90 had been designed without suspension, which would be common place on ATC’s for the first decade. ![]() The ATC prefix would be used for all Honda Three-Wheeled-Vehicles until production ceased in 1987, and become a universal epithet for other manufacturers three-wheeled machines.Ģnd Generation ATC90 (1974-1978) The designation was then changed to ATC90. The US90 designation was used until 1973, when Honda successfully trademarked the moniker ‘All Terrain Cycle’. The Initial US90 was offered at $595 in 1970, and featured an 89cc engine producing 7 hp. Takeuchi considered many variations before settling on a three-wheeled design with low-pressure ballon tires, driven by an enlarged Honda ST70 engine, through a 4 Speed Dual-Range Semi automatic clutched transmission. Development began in 1967, in response to requests from American dealers for products to sell in the motorcycle off-season. The Honda US90 was a three-wheeled Recreational vehicle designed by Osamu Takeuchi. Main article: List of Honda three-wheeled all-terrain vehicles

Well, after running valet restart & brew services restart of course.I have always had an issue when copying files from macOS to a windows formatted drive, that I would suddenly find loads of files with the same name but hidden starting with '. As it states, create a file in the ~/.valet/Drivers/ directory and then you’re good to go. Turns out I needed to use a custom Valet driver and after vetting a few I ended up using this gist WordPressMultisiteValetDriver.php. htaccess file for s, but given Valet uses Nginx instead of Apache that wasn’t going to work. The last caveat that hung me up for a bit was a WordPress Multisite. I typically increase the memory by adding: memory_limit = 512MĪgain, once applied, you’ll need to run valet restart & brew services restart 4. PHP memory_limit settings can be adjusted in this file: /usr/local/etc/php/7.x/conf.d/php-memory-limits.ini Once applied, you’ll need to run valet restart & brew services restart 3. I found the fix on a Github issue: Valet 2.0.3: 500 Bad Gateway (upstream sent too big header). To fix this, I needed to increase the proxy_buffer and fastcgi_buffer size for Nginx.Ĭreate ~/.valet/Nginx/all.conf and include:Īppend this to /usr/local/etc/nginx/fastcgi_params: This could mean a few things but seems Drupal was sending too many http requests which I’m guessing was caused by not having aggregation enabled for CSS and JS. Nginx / Valet - 502 Bad Gatewayĭrupal 8 was giving me the Nginx - 502 Bad Gateway error along with “upstream sent too big header while reading response header from upstream” which I found in the Nginx log. You can read more about TLDs for Testing from the Internet Engineering Task Force. Valet uses DnsMasq and appears to allow for only one TLD (top-level domain), so I went with. This way I could easily remove local or change it to dev to bring up the live or development website. org at the end of all my local host names, e.g. Here are a few issues I came across and wanted to share in hopes it will help someone else interested in switching to Valet. This is so easy compared to MAMP and it just works. ![]() Additionally I can set up a local cert for any site by typing valet secure example, and now I can go to. After which I could go to and get right to work. Simply cd to a sites docroot directory and type valet link example. This was a big requirement for me and a feature some of the alternatives I tried didn’t have. One feature that Valet (and MAMP Pro) has is the option to run a site from any directory. Valet doesn’t install a database so I had to brew install mariadb as well. We use Composer for working with Drupal and WordPress so that tool was ready to go on my machine. It requires using Homebrew to install PHP 7, which is easy enough, and Composer to install Valet. Given that most of our work is in Drupal or WordPress it was easy to see I came to the right place. The documentation page stated that Valet supported Drupal and WordPress, among others, right out of the box. Laravel’s Valet turned out to be a great and easy to use option. does all this fanciness out of the box!” I was like “well hell, now that sounds like MAMP to me”. Then I scrolled down to a commentator that said “Another great option is Laravel Valet. My first thought was, “that’s definitely not like MAMP ” and I’ve been through the whole local server install path before. It starts off by listing all the formulas I have to install using Homebrew caddy (of course), dnsmasq, php, along with configuring a Caddy. Particularly this one Local web development setup on a Mac. I started reading through their documentation about setting up a local hosting environment which later led me to their forums. One day I came across an open-source webserver called Caddy that looked very interesting to me. I had searched the internet and tried many alternatives to MAMP Pro but had no luck. ![]() I have to import databases locally all the time so this was driving me absolutely crazy. ![]() These crashes occurred when using terminal to import or export MySQL databases or when running the same database commands from phpMyAdmin. ![]() And after spending some time troubleshooting by deleting hosts to limit the number, uninstalling/reinstalling MAMP Pro, switching PHP mode to identical/individual versions, etc, it turned out that interacting with MySQL was causing the UI crashes. For me, the AMP (Apache, MySQL, and PHP) environment worked well, it was MAMP’s UI that would freeze and turn my cursor into a spinning beach ball accompanied by the message “Application Not Responding.” I would have to force quit and restart the app every time I needed to make a change. But after the release of version 5, MAMP Pro has been very buggy and annoying to use. We’ve been using MAMP Pro since version 1.x for most of our local testing and development. is a law professor at Belmont who publishes widely on First Amendment topics. Rational basis, the most deferential form of review for the government, means that the government must also have a legitimate interest that is rational and non-arbitrary. Intermediate scrutiny means that the government must advance a substantial or important governmental interest in a narrowly tailored way or a way that does not substantially burden more speech than necessary. Under intermediate scrutiny, government must show a substantial government interest Under it, the government must advance a compelling, or extremely important interest, often advanced in the least-speech restrictive way possible. ![]() Strict scrutiny is the highest level of judicial review.
